What is the lead time for a Commercial?

The turnaround time for producing a commercial at SKIPP varies, depending on the complexity and size of the project.

After the initial consultation and brainstorming session, we draw up a strategy, design and concept, which usually takes several days to a week. Drafting the script and storyboard, including your feedback, usually takes another week.

The actual recording and editing can then take several weeks, where we strive for a careful and high-quality end result.

Do you make videos in different languages?

Yes, we do that very often. At SKIPP we have a network of hundreds of professional native voice-overs spread all over the world. We can deliver your videos in 72 different languages. 

This can be done with a voice-over, with subtitles or a combination of both.

What is the ideal length of a commercial?

The ideal length of a commercial video varies depending on the purpose, the target group and the platform on which the video is distributed. However, marketers generally aim for a duration of 15 to 60 seconds.

Short and sweet commercials tend to hold viewers' attention better, especially in an age where attention spans are often limited.

For online platforms such as social media, an even shorter duration is often recommended, such as 15 to 30 seconds, to be effective in capturing viewers' interest. It is essential to convey the message quickly and clearly to have an impact within the limited time frame of a commercial.
