“Can you create an animation that clearly illustrates the scale of global cyber threats and the vital work of our Cyber Defence and Operations (CDO) team?”

The challenge?
To deliver a complex cybersecurity message in a way that’s both accessible and compelling—while placing extra emphasis on collaboration within the Heineken community.

Our approach

The animation was built around three core pillars, each carefully aligned with Heineken’s branding and messaging:

  1. Raising awareness of cyber threats
    We opened with striking visuals that illustrate the scale and impact of global cyberattacks. Key statistics—such as the thousands of monthly threats faced by Heineken and over 3,500 reported security incidents—were brought to life, immediately conveying the urgency of the message.
  2. Emphasising collaboration and a positive message
    The animation concludes on an uplifting note, highlighting the strength of working together across the Heineken family. It’s this collective effort that keeps the organisation digitally secure and prepared for what’s ahead.

The visual style remained clean and consistent with Heineken’s brand identity. Dynamic animations, supporting text, a professional voice-over and subtle sound design ensured the message was not only clear, but engaging from start to finish.

The animation has significantly strengthened Heineken’s internal cybersecurity communications:

  • It translates complex cybersecurity concepts into a clear, compelling message.
  • Employees are now more aware of the important role they play in protecting Heineken’s digital environment.
